MO OSTIN BASKETBALL CENTER
Emily's vision for the Mo Ostin center was to use bright yellow's and blue's, vibrant images of Los Angeles, and striking images of athletes to visually tell the story of UCLA's recent history and current success. When arriving in the Mo Ostin Center, one is immediately struck by her creative idea that has come to life in the form of a donor wall. Donor names are laid out on on different size balls, mimicking a basketball and representing the notes of musical chords, giving subtle nods to the building's main donor, the Music Producer, Mo Ostin.
The building won the following awards:
-
2017 The American Institute of Architects Los Angeles Design Award: Mo Ostin Basketball Center
-
2017 Westside Urban Forum Award : Mo Ostin Basketball Center
